CIMAC Superleague, Dorking

Posted by guildfordmartialarts on October 28, 2015 at 4:55 PM

Sunday 18th October saw some fantastic results at the CIMAC Superleague in Dorking. The Guildford Predatorz took eight of our fighters to this national competition for an exciting day of semi contact and light continuous kickboxing.

Both Isaac Mulligan and Frankie Bevans competed for the first time in a while and it was great to see them practising their skills on the mat again! Finley Dean and Alex Legassick both competed in their first national tournament; they both fought hard but unfortunately lost out in the first round to much more experienced. Well done for stepping up to nationals boys! Richard Hartman is currently training for his Black Belt and has been putting in a lot of hard work. Competing in the veterans points, he fought very well, unfortunately losing to the eventual winner.

Helen and Meghan Milne proved that they are a ferocious mother-daughter duo to be reckoned with; both of them took home gold medals! Meghan fought three tough fights in her points category to emerge victorious. Helen took gold in a straight final in the continuous; she also won two of three fights in her points category to take home a bronze medal.

Giorgio Visioli is quickly becoming one of our most consistently successful fighters, steaming through three tough rounds of his continuous category with style. He fought hard and managed to bring home another gold medal for the Guildford Predatorz. Well done to everyone who competed!
